As the crown jewel of our natural resources, Lake Erie needs to be protected, promoted and preserved. The lake provides drinking water for 3 million Ohio residents and is a magnet for regional tourism, which in turn supports jobs and generates revenue for our state. Having been a leading voice on this issue for several years, I will continue to work on maintaining the health and attractiveness of Lake Erie, ensuring that current and future generations both prosper from and enjoy this amazing asset.
